Fatesbane: The Falucite Bride

The diviner said unto me ‘You will be mated to a monster’. I told her she was full of it. I knew she said it just to get rid of me. But now when I gaze at the man with the spiffy hat, I wasn’t so sure anymore.

This is the newest story I’ve come up with. Born on Monday, October 10, 2011. It came from a dream about some apathetic-acting girl with a stoic partner of some kind standing up to an evil demon-like man (who kinda looked like Yuber from Suikoden III). The demon man was impressed with her lack of fear and decided that she would be his mate after finding out that she didn’t particularly hate him.

This was formerly called ‘The Falucite Bride’ when it was first created. As of August 1, 2012, the title has been modified again to Fatesbane: The Falucite Bride to distinguish it from the next book Fatesbane: The Living Legend.

There is also a short 4 chapter story that takes place between books 1 and 2 called Fatesbane: Falling the Hard Way, and it fills in the 3 year gap between the books by explaining the relationships and events that are later mentioned in book 2.

Also, be sure to check out Fatesbane: A Moment Lost. It’s an alternate reality one-shot that explores the possibility of Satel meeting Dantia before Cegil. The scene never happened in the real story, but it is written in a way to make it fit with it.

The warnings in this story will involve occasional bad language, violence, sexual themes. There will be no rape despite evidence to the contrary.

    • Oh freaky… He’s a fellow Texan and yet I’ve never heard of him before. It’s almost like he read the book and wrote a song about Satel’s feelings… buuuut I’m sure that’s just a coinkydink. XD

Great minds think alike I guess. Thanks for sharing!
