Another Step

Chapter 23 of Fatesbane is up. I actually had it finished earlier Saturday morning, but I ended up sleeping most of the day since it suddenly got too hot. I remember last summer when it stayed over 100 degrees for nearly two months in a row and feeling it for only three days made me go back to my heat hibernation. Sometimes I wished I lived out in the deserts of Arizona or New Mexico- at least then I’d get dry heat instead of the unbearable humidity…

Anyway, I found out that the SKoW (Some Kind of Wonderful) awards is back from hiatus and is starting nominations for the 12th round. The reason I know this is because a couple of friends of mine nominated Fatesbane for something. I can’t say for sure if I make it in the final round, but I’m glad for the consideration. Anyone can nominate and I would like to invite anybody to do so, if not for my story (or for just me in the author categories), then for other romance authors on fictionpress who deserve some attention. Here is their site: SKoW. They have their category listings and instructions on how to nominate there.

Also, if I do happen to be nominated, can I count on you guys to vote for me? 😉
